I almost didn't do a Veterans Day strip this year. I've done four of them already, and I didn't want them all to be essentially the same thing, particularly when the Archives are right there.

On top of that, this is the first Veterans Day without my Dad. I thought about having Mike's father die off-screen, but I couldn't do it. Not yet.
